    Accidentally put my system on duel boot is this bad?


    I am not sure if this would be the right sub. But I bought a new ssd 2 months ago and tried making it my new boot drive. And I think I accidentally have a duel boot system. Both of my drivers have windows on it. My bios has one drive set to boot. While windows detects the other as the boot drive. I don't need this function and decided to finally get around to fixing this. Is this bad? And how can I fix it?

    Current Duel Boot system

    I am currently running a system with windows 7 and windows 8.1 duel boot. Will I be able to keep windows 7 and only upgrade windows 8.1 to windows 10 when it becomes available? Thus allowing me to continue with my duel boot system but having windows 7
    and windows 10 instead of windows 7 and windows 8.1?

    Remove windows 8 from duel-booting after system recovery

    Hi, my windows 10 had the problem of
    0xc0000034     and solved with a system repair disk. However, after the process I get a duel booting menu each time I start my computer, with options of windows 10 and 8.

    I'm wondering how could I remove windows 8 from the list? Thanks!
