Windows 10: Accidentally set computer for wind 10 Pro activation when my product code key was for...

I recently purchased my first computer (i have always just used my teenagers) i bought it refurbished Hp probook with windows 10home, when i was setting it up i accidentally set it up for Windows Pro. How do i fix this. When i walk through the steps to fix it it keeps trying to send me to the store to buy a new product key. I called Microsoft the Product key is good

Possibly there can be the problem with Microsoft activation Server, so your Windows 10 is not activated. In this scenario, you need to wait and verify if it is the issue from Microsoft’s side. But if you are getting error code 0x803f7001, you can also try these steps:

1. Open Settings app. Then go to Update and security > Activation screen > Change product.
2. Type your Windows edition product key and click Next.
3. You’ll get We couldn’t activate Windows error message.
4. Retry steps 1-3 then type your 25-characters unique product key.
5. Wait for the process to complete, Windows 10 is activated.

I have a product key for Windows 10 Pro but I accidentally installed Windows 10 Home on my computer.

Hi guys,

I recently built a new computer and used Microsoft's Media Creation Tool to create a bootable flash drive for my new computer. I plugged in the flash drive and the installation went well until I noticed I accidentally installed Windows 10 Home on my computer
instead of Windows 10 Pro. I looked at all of the forums and tried all of the "fixes" including this one "https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12384/windows-10-upgrading-home-to-pro" I am trying to activate my windows since I skipped this step during installation.
When I enter my Windows 10 Pro product key, It gives me this error code:
"The last product key you entered can't be used with this copy of Windows (0x803FA067)" Is there anyway for me to activate Windows with my product key without having to do a fresh install because I don't have anything to backup my hard drive and ssd
to.
