  1. Account Resets after each PC restart

I restarted my computer a few weeks ago and after the update my account was wiped. Only apps left on my desktop were Steam, Norton, Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome. I assumed it was a one time thing and just reinstalled everything and moved on.

Fast forward to a few days ago I restarted it again and the same thing happened. This time I dug a little deeper and found this seems to be a reoccurring issue and followed so people’s advice to open the Command Prompt program and uninstall a problematic update. I did so and moved on. Unfortunately my SO logged onto their account (which is unharmed after all of this) and then initiated an update for some fucking reason which wiped mine again.

At this point I’m just desperate to do something, but can’t even open apps that seem to be installed (Minecraft, Amazon, etc). I can’t open them, I have reset and even tried to uninstall them and nothing happens.

Does anyone know what the hell is going on?

    Remove account

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:
    1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
    2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:
      Code:
      net user test /del
