Windows 10: Acer Aspire 3 laptop stayed at 87% during a complete resetting for 2 whole days. Can...

my laptop Acer Aspire 3 stayed at 87% during a complete resetting for 2 whole days. I have tried all suggested methods like power off and press ALT + F10, totally remove all peripherals, repeated all suggestions several time but it is still the same. The main issue is it won't change once it is powered on, it goes back to the same screen and starts running at from 64% till reaching 87% and stop there. The screen is displaying this: 'installing 87%, please keep your computer on and plugged in' Can any experienced or expect here can help me get out of this situation, please?

While I'm not answering your question on a new AV I would suggest as a possible step, upgrading your ram.

Crucial has ram for your device. $40 (not sure about tax or shipping) Your device seems to have one slot so you would need the 4GB stick. As you are using 32bit OS you can only use of 3GB. Crucial says you have one slot for memory and tear down videos seem to confirm this.

Memory is static sensitive. Not as much of an issue when it is humid but still something to be aware of. If you don't want to buy a ground strap touch something that is grounded before starting the procedure and then don't go looking for things. Stay seated and perform. You should be fine.

External ram ??? Even if you could buy you wouldn't have port with sufficient speed to connect.

In answer to your first question, Yes I did reinstall two different drivers that Windows shows as options. No change.

I ran the programs you suggested.

The first command gave the following results:

No component store corruption detected.

The operation completed successfully.

The second command gave the following results:

The restore operation completed successfully

The operation completed successfully.

I still find it odd that both Acer Aspire computers had the same problem within 2 days of each other.
