Windows 10: Action Centre does not open when clicking on it

I have tried to open my action centre's notification and volume panel throughout the past day, but nothing bothers to open. What I have tried so far consists of the following:Restarted explorer.exe via task managerSFC and DISM via cmdRe-registering Action Center via PowershellEdited the registry for "Remove Notifications and Action Center" by setting it to 0, as well as its respective group policyWindows UpdateCreating a new user to see if the problem transfers, which it doesIs there anything else I can try before resorting to a hard reset?

Start menu tiles and Notification/Open Action Centre dissappeared!


Strange, my start menu left click that used to open the coloured start menu with 'tiles' has stopped working. I can only right click to access the 'grey' listing. If I do left click I see the blue spinning wheel for a couple of seconds but nothing appears.
Also the icon for 'New Notifications' has stopped as well, when clicked I used to see a slide out popup asking me if I would recommend W10 to a friend but not now. If I right click to 'Open Action Centre' nothing happens.

Any suggestions as to how to fix them?

To help resolve your concern, kindly turn off the notification of the Action Centre. To do that follow the steps below:

• Open Control panel.
• Search for Notification and actions.
• Below the Quick actions tab, click Turn system icons on or off.
• Toggle off the Action Center at the bottom

Let us know how it goes.

Again, this did not work.

These troubleshooting steps are for those whose action centre is visible. My action centre is not visible at all.
