    I've been using Windows 10 on a Dell Inspiron17 for three years. I wanted to upgrade to Windows Pro. I made an online purchase at the Microsoft Store. Some download and installation process took place. Now, I'm seeing a notice in Settings that Windows isn't Activated. The activation page lists my edition as "Windows 10 Enterprise" but says it can't activate Windows on this device because I don't have a valid digital license or product key Error code: 0xC004C003. Troubleshooting just tells me they can't activate my copy of Windows.

    I can't figure this out -- I've been using the computer for three years without any notification of a problem of this kind. The computer came with Windows, I set up a Microsoft Account at that time and registered the device, but I can't find on the computer, the original box, or the invoice a product key for Windows. Nor is there any product key on the invoice in the Microsoft Store where I just purchased Windows Pro.

    What should I do?

    Windows 10 Activation (Insider)

    I bought Windows 7 Pro OEM key from G2Play.net for 12€ to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro - worked like a charm but be advised if you buy a OEM key you can not download the Win 7 iso from microsoft and have to get it elsewhere.

    How long did you wait for activation?
    When I re-installed with a fresh install... it took a few hours to sync and activate.
    However, it did, finally, activate.

    Hi!

    I signed up in the windows insider program and got windows 10 free - the windows 10 insider preview updated to windows 10 pro.
    Today i got another SSD and did a raid 0 on my system forcing me to do a clean install of windows but now it wont activate anymore.
    Signing in with my microsoft account that was linked to the insider program didnt help.
    Maybe i got this problem since i quit the insider program for several days and signed up again after i found out that my win 10 wont activate anymore.
    Any ideas how to fix it?
