Windows 10: Activation Error 0x8007023E

Another issue!!! I'm loving setting up this laptop that took me 15 weeks to set up the way I needed it. Not that it's MS's fault. It's not. People just don't understand Windows Updates, and I don't expect them to. They must turn off a computer when it says not to. Must make me reset my computer as it gets into a boot loop. Anger aside, I clean installed 21H1 that came out yesterday. I've only just finished reinstalling Office, PDN, N++ and VLC and disabling a whole heap of stuff and resorting my start menu. Very nice now. Only just squeezed my psychology assessment in before its due date

Does the update go to the downlevel phase and then rollback or the Media creation tool doesn't start at all?

 

Windows 10 Upgrade 0x8007023E-0x2000C Error

Hello,

I am trying to perform a number of upgrades using the Windows 10 Media Creation Tool 1909. A number of machines have returned the following error.

0x8007023E-0x2000C

Unfortunately I cannot find any information regarding this error on the Microsoft website. I have completed the following trouble shooting steps.

Update Bios

Run CHKDSK (No Errors)

Run SFC /Scannow (No Error)

Used HP image assist and updated all drivers available

Installed all available Windows 7 updates

Currently running Windows 7 Professional 32 bit 4GB ram 1TB HD. Around 600 GB free on the HD.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

New problem, insider ver18990, update error (0x8007023e)

I get this Wintows 10 ver 18990 error, trying to update, get this error (0x8007023e). It does update the Defender definitions, but then comes up with this error. The update diagnostic does not pick up anything to fix. Anyone got a solution?
