Windows 10: Activation error 0xC004F074

I am receiving the error 0xC004F074 in regards to Windows 10 not being activated on my device. There are two problems with this: First, I have been using Windows 10 on this device for well over a year since getting the free upgrade, and I have never had the ghosted out 'Activate Windows' icon appear on my screen before today. Second, it says to contact my workplace administrator, and this is not nor has it ever been a work computer.


How do I fix this?
