Windows 10: Activation failed Free Digital Licence after hardware change HDD to SDD - Unsupported version?

TLDR: Can't activate Windows 10 Pro after hardware change HDD to SDD on a laptop that came without an operating system, but I got the free Windows 10 Pro as a digital licence from 2015 when it was being given away to everyone.As the title says, I cannot get Windows 10 Pro to activate after I changed my HDD to a new SSD. The HDD still works fine so when I install the HDD back to the laptop, Windows is still activated. I have made sure I connected my Microsoft account to the old Windows installation before installing the SSD, so that I can carry it over to the new installation. I do not poss

HDD change of my Laptop will de-acvate my digital licence ?

I am using windows 10 pro on my HP laptop which was upgraded fom windows 7 with a digital licence and now I need to change my HDD of my laptop . after changing of HDD, can I get the same digital licence or I am going to loose it since the old hardware
in bonded with the machine, Please help .

to add I had nothing but problems since upgrading for free my wifi adaptor failed so I had to purchase another. then my ethernet port failed. so was forced into probably purchasing a new mb next step up from the failed one ( possibly because of poxy windows
10 upgrade)

Also I thought when I upgraded so called "digital licence" to win 10 I no longer needed my windows 7 disc and key so binned it.

next step was to put old motherboard which is linked to digital licence. back in and reinstall correct version of windows to match my digital licence worked windows activated! ffixxed

now to change my motherboard back to the non faulty one..... and try to reactivate...…………..!!!

Windows 10 digital licence activation issues

Good day

My hardware sticker indicates that I have a Windows 10 Pro digital license, I installed Windows 10 Pro accordingly.

Now when I try activate my digital licence it says that I have a Home Single Language licence and must install correct version.

Please advise how this is possible and what could be the cause of this, I have activated many machines without fail in this regard but today suddenly things changed?

Please revert with reasons and a fix to resolve urgently to activate the Pro version which is what I require.
