Windows 10: Activation trouble

So, a while back I bought a key for windows 7 and upgraded it to 10 on my dual-boot mac. I believe at that point, I linked the key to my windows account. Later, I built my own PC, but for some reason I cannot activate it. I installed Pro on the old computer, and have Home on my built one (I thought the license worked for both), but the license doesn't seem to be transferring- despite the fact it RECOGNIZES in the troubleshoot that I have Pro on another device with my Windows account. Any tips please? I don't have the written key anymore.

Windows 10 fails to update


When you finish testing the Avast suggestion, make sure that you restart your machine.

Then if the issue persists, please return to the trouble shooting list in post# 89

I think there are three steps that remain; the WU troubleshooter, reset WU components, and manual WU reset.

 

Trouble saving voicemail number

To access my voicemail it is my phone number, a pause and 4 digit pin.



I did the following steps:

• Turned off default voicemail number
• Added a , (for pause) at end of my phone number
• Added the 4 digit pin

I get the following error message We're having trouble saving your voicemail number right now. Try again later.



Any suggestions on how to correct this?
