Yes, ActiveX control should be working on your device and the IE ActiveX Interface Marshaling Library
(ieproxy.dll) is a part of Windows Internet Explorer and a system file. It is used by your computer as well.

ActiveX Constantly Needs to Install

ActiveX is a general term... we need to know which ActiveX program (eg. Flash, Silverlight, Quicktime, Java JRT or other) is being installed... use the

Tools>Manage Addons>Show all Addons >locate the ActiveX component in the list and then double click it to display its properties sheet. Copy and paste that information with your question

Please include links to problem websites with your questions. In the first instance you should contact the vendor of third party software that you have installed. (eg. the camera manufacturer), they may have upgrades for their software that is compatible
with windows security features for activeX.

ActiveX and plugins are being phased out, the software vendor may have upgrades that no longer require it.

You should not alter IE's security zone settings, as this may put your computer at risk when browsing other websites. Tools>Internet Options>Security tab, click "Reset all zones to default".

Remove the site from your IE Trusted sites list if you have placed it in that zone.

activex and cctv camera

I have solidex camera outside my house. I could view the image on my iphone by simply typing htttp://<ip-address> followed by user name and password. On my Nokia 1520, i get the message activex is required. When it attempts to download activex, it fails.
I have tried using IP CAM controller and CamaraKaze Apps, as suggested by other posts, but unable to get it to work. This could be because my camera Solidex is not listed in available cameras within these Apps. Does anyone have suggestions on what i need to
do to view camera images on my phone?
