Windows 10: Activity page shows successful logins with wrong IP

I check the Activity Page every day. Many lines are not OK: they have“Successful Login” with a wrong IP, always the same wrong IP. I click on “Secure your account” on every wrong line. There are also lines that are OK, with my correct IP. The wrong IP is the same on every wrong line. But when I secure on one wrong line, this does not secure the other wrong lines. The first line has “Successful Login” with the wrong IP. There is no “Secure your account” on the first line. There is “This is your current session”. Impossible to secure the first line. I have to redo all the same lines every day. If I close the Activity Page and I reopen it immediately, I have to redo all this work: Everything has been un-secured. I have contacted MS, changed my MS password, and made complete virus checks many times. I have only one computer desktop, with wires, no wireless, no phone, no other devices. I totally disconnect my computer and all the wires and cables every day. I am alone. I do not share my computer with anyone. I have Windows 10. I update every day. I have subscribed to MS-Office 365. I update every day. I have Internet access by a TV cable company. What should I do?

there is something wrong with suggested for you list on npu page. clicking on picture of dd:da review from suggested for you list leads to perormance analysis instead of review. hovering mouse over it shows in status bar correct link to review but clicking on picture reloads analysis.
links from reviews&articles page works fine.

edit: link from home page of npu sends you to analysis instead of review as well.

 

IP address is wrong

Thank you for the information. I appreciate the link to Shields Up. It definitively showed me that the 174 was my own IP address. I had always assumed that the IP address my computer shows me when I look in the Network and Internet page in Settings was my
IP address. All my computers had IP addresses starting with 169, and I just assumed that was it.

I know a lot about a lot but there are some topics I'm not conversant in, and this is (obviously) one of those.

As far as how I knew the IP address from Facebook, when I went to Security and Log-in, I hovered over the recent activity and the IP address came up as a hover box (I don't know the right term for that).
It is not a clickable box.

I appreciate your help and information.

 

Recent Activity from unused browsers

When logged in via my msn.com account, and using the Chrome browser, I see successful logins from my Windows platform on Chrome, showing it as my current session. However, I also see successful logins from my Windows platform via Internet Explorer, which
I use maybe once a week and not at the time or the frequencies shown in the Recent Activity pages.

Also, when logged in via my hotmail.com account, and using the Chrome browser, I see successful logins from my Windows platform on Chrome, showing it as my current session. However, I also see successful logins from my Windows platform via microsoft edge,
which I have used maybe once or twice a year and not at the time or the frequencies shown in the Recent Activity pages.

All of the logins are shown from the same IP address.

Does anyone know why this is happening?
