Windows 10: adapters and bindings change order not working

hello i tried change adapters and bindings order but its not working
i followed this but when i re enter the pop-up in the picture (after setting my new priority order) the new order is gone and the old is there

• Open Network Connections by clicking the Start button

• Press the Alt key, click Advanced, and then click Advanced Settings.

Windows 10 Adapter binding order (broken?)

The ethernet adapter binding order dialog seems to be a no-op on windows 10. I use OpenVPN (and the tun/tap adapter), and need that adapter to be first in the list so that DNS queries go to my intranet DNS servers rather than the internet ones.

The dialog seems to work (you can change the order of the adapters), but clicking OK doesn't actually save the changes.

Any ideas?

 

Windows 10 Network adapter order doesn't "stick".

When I change my network adapter order in Windows 10 using "Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network Connections | Advanced settings modal > Adapters and Bindings tab" click OK to save and reopen the same modal and tab, they aren't saved. They are
back to the way they were when I first opened it.

I need to be able to change my network adapter order and it's not working.

Thoughts?
