Windows 10: Add iTunes to firewall/anti-virus

How can I add iTunes to the firewall when I don't know where the Microsoft Store installed it. I've right clicked on the icon to check the properties, but it doesn't show where it is installed. I've looked in program files and it's not there. I've even looked in the hidden apps folder and it's not there.


Searching the internet suggests that it might be in the WindowsApps directory. But I have no access to that directory...even as administrator.


iTunes worked the last time I used it...about a week ago. But I have made no changes to the PC. I only use it for music. itunes will run but when you go to the store, the page never loads. One time the store loaded when I ran as administrator, but as soon as I switched to another tab and then back, the store was gone again.


I also uninstalled and reinstalled itunes from the Microsoft store and that worked for a couple of tries, but now the store won't load again.


I've tried all the other things they suggest, like updating Windows10 (it does it automatically), verified date and time, check connectivity (all good there), but I can't try the firewall tip, but Microsoft has hidden the exe somewhere for some reason.

Help With Choosing Anti-Virus Software

Hey guys

I would like to know what some of the best anti virus programs are.

I am currently running NOD32 and the Nvidia firewall (came with mobo) and I find they slow down my games (singleplayer)

The guys over in the gaming threads suggested to just disable them while playing but I'm not sure I want to just in case you know.

So yeah bassically if you could give me some suggestions for anti virus and I will probably go back to using the windows firewall instead.

If you are going to pay for a anti virus then kaspersky would be my pick but if you want firewall protection then I would recommend either a good router with firewall options or a stand alone firewall.

I got a message from my Microsoft application "Support Assist" saying "You have more than 1 antivirus software enabled. This can lead to conflicts that may impact performance." This is on my Dell Inspiron AMD 3655 Desktop, with Windows 10 Home OS.

When I click on "details" in the message, Support Assist shows that I have:

2 "McAfee Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware" products enabled,

1 "McAfee Firewall" enabled and

1 "Windows Firewall" enabled.

Under Support Assist's "security" tab, "Windows Defender" is "disabled."

I can't find a way to disable the Windows Firewall, however, or 1 of the McAfee Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware products.

How do I disable any of these security programs? Or enable them in the future? Also, which Firewall protects my Dell Inspiron better, the McAfee or Windows Firewall? Is McAfee Anti-Virus/Spyware a better protector or Windows Defender?

Alternatively, is it worth it to keep the double anti-virus/spyware programs and firewall programs for my data's safety, even if it slows my computer's performance?
