Windows 10: Add Subtitle with HandBrake

Hello,If somebody is familiar with "HandBrake" program, here is my question:I use "HandBrake" for a long time to add subtitle to a movie file.Recently started the program, loaded a movie file (mp4), 1hr. 42min.Imported the subtitle file (srt), set everything as I did always, ran a preview for 3 minutes - it was OK. Set the program to run.After it finished (about 2 hrs) I ended with a doubled movie (3hrs, 44mins.), which means, after the movie 'ends', it continues from the beginning again. Like this: "Finished Movie(subtitled) = Original Movie + Original Movie".Any answer will be appreciated.ThanksHandBrake version 1.3.3OS Win 10 1903 x64 18362.1049

Adding Subtitle with Handbrake


Hello,
Recently downloaded some full movie (mp4), and found a Hebrew subtitle. Located both files in a folder,
opened the subtitle with Notepad, made some minor editing, saved it (encoding UTF-8) srt file,
movie and subtitle same name.
Played the movie in any player on the system, the subtitle rans perfect, no need to adjust timing.
Then I loaded the movie in "HandBrake (0.10.5.0 - 32bit)", imported the subtitle, selected Hebrew and
utf-8, made a small preview file - subtitle was not added.
Note, I used the same procedure several times ago with other movies - results were good.
Do not know what happened, I would ask for some help please.

Displaying subtitles

I would suggest you to follow these steps: to select subtitle file in videos:

-Normally, the app attempts to search for subtitle file associated with the video file playing. But if it can’t find it, or there is other subtitle file you want to use, just click the subtitle icon on the control bar (it’s between play button and volume button),
then select “Choose subtitle file”

-Now browse for the subtitle file and you’re done!

If you are still unable to setup the subtitles, please answer the following questions to be able to assist you further:

• What app are you using to use when playing videos?
• What file type are the videos that you usually play?
• Any troubleshooting steps you have done so far?
