  1. Adding a Windows 11 Pro laptop to a Windows 10 Home workgroup

I have a workgroup with one stationary serving as the server and is running Windows 10 Home. I have added a tablet and another stationary that are part of the workgroup and are both running Windows 10 Home. I am looking at purchasing a laptop, and with the current deal, the laptop has Windows 11 Pro as the Operating System. We should be able to add this laptop even tho it is running a different version of operating system, correct? My understanding is that Windows 11 Pro has all the features of home and shouldn't be an issue? Thanks,Carol Wiegmann

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
