Windows 10: Adding Internet Explorer Sortcut to Start Menu

Thanks for taking a look at my issue. I am trying to add the IE shortcut to my start-menu but I am finding it very difficult. I found some instructions online but they seem very complicated given that I am able to add other shortcuts with ease. Thanks!

Microsoft Internet Explorer renamed to Windows Internet Explorer ?




Since version 7 of the world`s most popular web browser - Microsoft Internet Explorer was silently renamed to Windows Internet Explorer.Such a step from Microsoft is not a surprise since Internet Explorer is part of the Windows operation system for a long time.Obviously Microsoft corp. wants to state that Internet Explorer is already considered as a part of Windows and not as an external browser (remember the IE and WMP law issues last year!?).

How do I add web site to start menu in Indow 10 using Internet explorer

I understand your concern about pinning the website to Start menu. We will help you with this issue.

Try the below steps:

• Open Internet Explorer, access the website you wish to pin to Start menu.
• Press Alt+ T keys from the keyboard to open Tools
  options.
• Click on Add site to apps, click on Add.
• Go to Start menu, under Recently added apps you will find the one.
• Right click on it and click on Pin to Start.
