  1. Adding new Data to a Word Graph

I inserted a graph in word, plotted the data via excel and saved the document.

I did not save the excel document, it did not occur to me to do it.

But when I tried to edit the data and add some additional information, I was not able to do it.

I tried right clicking and left clicking on the pie chart. But even though I found a link that said edit data, it was shadowed out.

I went to either insert or draw.......I don't recall........and I found an edit data link.......but it was shaded out as well.

I need to add some more entry points on the graph but it won't cooperate.

How do I make this happen?

  2. Excel bar graphs

Help! I am a teacher creating bar graphs to reflect sight word knowledge of my students. I am using Excel. I type in the data of how many words obtained and the program automatically creates a ceiling based on the data I entered. I wish for my bar graph
to show the maximum number achievable. How do I alter the range? For example, a student is currently able to read 110 words. Excel made the graph go up to 120. I wish for it to up to 220 as that is the goal. How do I change this?
