Windows 10: Adding wifi direct printer password is not sent

I tried to add a HP MFP M181fw wifi direct printer in Windows 10. Windows asked me to enter printer PIN from printer. HP printer did detect a connection request and prompt a password to let me enter on the device. I enter the PIN from printer in Windows 10's adding direct printer dialog box. But the connect is time out. I tied many times but they all failed. It seems Windows 10 did not send the password to wifi direct printer. How to fix this ?

How can I remove a wifi direct printer?

My printer supports wifi direct connection, so I tried to connect to my printer via wifi direct. It has been added in the list (settings->Bluetooth & devices -> Printers & scanners), but it's been marked with a message ,'Driver is unavailable'), and it doesn't work. So, I just connected to my printer as a TCP/IP printer as I did before.

Anyway, the newly added printer profile (wifi direct printer) in the 'Printer & scanners' list is no longer needed, but I cannot delete it. There are no buttons to click, no responds for the left or right click, thus making the profile unmodifiable. It doesn't appear in the Device Manager, moreover.

How can I remove the printer profile that I added via wifi direct from the 'setting -> Blutooth & devices -> Printers & scanners' list?

Seems like I can remove it if I delete something in the registry, but don't know what to do. If it is, does anybody know which one is it?

I'm using windows 11.

 

Wifi direct printer

Before the new update that happened recently, it was nice and easy to find a printer that uses wifi direct. Now I keep trying to find where I can find a printer with wifi direct, and I can't find it. Where can I find those printers?

 

Adding new wifi password to Printer connection

I have a HP laptop running Windows 10. I have a HP Deskjet 2540 printer. I have just had new router box added to broudband and have obviously had to change the wifi password on the latop, but I am having problems with finding out how to change the wifi
password on the printer! Can anyone help? Thanks in advance
