Windows 10: Adjusting privacy and security settings - O&O ShutUp10

I'm a user of both Windows and Linux (in recent years mostly the latter). I have recently upgraded a couple of my systems from the now EOL Windows 7 to Windows 10 Pro. I like to think I am conscientious about privacy and security without being obsessive or paranoid. I get the impression that Microsoft has built a lot of telemetry into Windows 10.... but that it also provides extensive options for re-setting or disabling all the various processes, provided you know what they all do and where to look! So I was interested to come across a free program produced by O&O Software called ShutUp10. The website is here. It claims to simplify the procedure for selecting and disabling the many and various ways in which Microsoft monitors and collects data from your usage of Windows 10. It sets out an astonishingly long list of functions which 'report back' on your use of the system, and enables you to reset or deactivate them with a single click. No doubt many if not all these functions can be controlled or disabled from somewhere within the Win10 Settings. But the idea of doing so more or less automatically has its attractions. Has anyone used - or got any views about - the O&O ShutUp10 program?

O&O Shutup10

I have been using O&O ShutUp for quite few years. With only recommended settings,✔, plus 3 Limited orange triangle.
Never had any problems, though to be safe I disable it when installing major Windows Updates and new windows version installation. Then enable it after set as I like.
