Windows 10: Admin log in problem

Hello,On my Windows, I have 2 users. I wanted to remove the 1st user as an administrator and make the 2nd user an administrator. I did this through the "netplwiz" command and changed the 1st user, who was an administrator, to a standard user. After this action, everything is disabled for me, I can't make any changes without a pop-up window asking if I want to make changes, but it doesn't offer the "yes" option. I am attaching a picture of what it looks like. I couldn't set the 2nd user as an administrator because after the first step, every action is disabled for me

BUG: with local logins, root/admin sometimes stays logged in

To better assist you with your concern, I'd like to know the following:

• Confirm which build is currently installed on your device. To check, follow the steps below:

1. Press Windows key + R, then type in winver.
2. Click OK.

• When you've mentioned root/admin, are you referring to the built-in administrator in Windows 10?
• It would be best if you can send me a screenshot of the menu that shows you that the root/admin stays logged in.

admin rights keep disappearing!?!!

Hi guys,

I am actually having a problem at work that our IT department hasn't been able to figure out. I am supposed to be a member of the admin group. We are on a domain. The problem is that everytime I reboot the computer I loose my admin rights(no longer in the administrator group) and just become a normal user again. I have tried googling this and didn't get to many results.
I believe IT is just giving me local admin rights, not admin rights for the whole domain.

Any suggestions?

EDIT: It is on Windows XP Pro.
