    Admin password issue


    Hello:

    Here it is: I wanted to change the only Admin account on a home computer to my wife. I was Admin with her account as a user. I wanted to remove my account totally.

    I went to accounts in the control panel

    I changed her account to an admin account

    I changed my account to a standard account

    I tried to remove my account but I was the user at the time so it wouldn't let me do that

    I restarted the computer

    I tried to go back in and remove my account but it came up with a password challenge for my wife's account

    The password we had for her STANDARD account didn't work and I can not get in to delete my account nor can I get in as admin any longer

    HELP!! HELP!! HELP!!.......................................PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

    admin password?

    You can reset the Admin Password using Windows XP repair; See Here for step by step.

    ok changed added admin password for d in safe mode!
    Ok, now this is weird: XP repair will not accept my new password! WTF?
