Increasingly, I am getting angry about non-sensical behavior from Windows.

To make a long story short, I am trying to disable some settings in the Task Scheduler (among others, but let's focus on that one).

Absolutely nothing enables me to do this: I do not have admin "rights". These are the steps I took to remedy this:

    - Fresh install of Windows 10 version 1903 Build 18362.295 from a Media creator tool.

    - Enabled the "hidden" administrator account. and enabled administrator privilieges on the single "normal" local account.

    - Executed the Task Scheduler from: Administrative tools icon, Command Line (as admin), Power Shell (as admin). Sometimes it wont even lauch...

    - Tried to Disable settings from Windows Update.

All failed. Every single one of them. Even logged in as the highest possible admin account I can possibly find on the forums here. But the only message I get is that I don't have administrative rights to do what I want.

Basically, Admins have no admins rights. This is beyond ridiculous...

Before I just drop the towel, is there anything I might try to actually be an administrator on Windows?

    Thanks in advance

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
