    Administrator Settings: Changing Core Isolation


    I need to download an exam software for school. To successfully use the program I must change the core isolation settings on my Microsoft Surface Pro 8. However, when I go to device security settings to change the toggle it reads, "This setting is managed by your administrator." I am the administrator. How do I fix this issue?

    Disable Core Isolation Setting?

    Hi,

    I'm signed in with an administrator account on a Surface Pro. I'm trying to disable the Core Isolation setting in Windows Defender so I can run VMware. I can't selet this because the screen shows "This setting is managed by your administrator.". How can
    I make this change since I'm signed in as the administrator?

    How to disable Core Isolation on a Surface Book 3?

    Good day everyone,

    I' trying to run Nox Player (Noxplayer – Fastest and Smoothest Android Emulator for PC & Mac – Free and Safe) on a new Surface Book 3, but Windows keep telling me it's not compatible. Following Nox's how-to guide, they say to disable Core
    Isolation, but according to Windows that setting is managed by the system administrator, when the Surface Book 3 is my own machine, with only one account on it, and of course with admin privileges.

    I've tried a common gpedit.msc "trick" of changing a setting and then changing it back, but the Core Protection setting is always out of reach.

    Are there special steps I need to take to disable Core Isolation on a Surface Book 3?

    I can't turn on Core Isolation because there is a message that says, it is managed by your administrator. If I am the administrator, shouldn't I be able to turn it on?
