    [Advice] Bytefence is very difficult to uninstall. Install it at your own risk.


    This product is very difficult to uninstall.

    Uninstalling through the control panel is only partially successful. I had to resort to manually renaming files and directories so I could manually delete them. I also had to run regedit.exe to delete the numerous leftover registry entries.


    Install at you own risk.

    (At Risk) notification next to Bytefence

    I noticed when selecting which toolbars to show on my taskbar that the app Bytefence has (at risk) written next to it. what should I do about this? can I uninstall this app? It says its published by Microsoft, is this app part of windows security software?
    I have an windows 10 and my laptop is an HP.
