    Advice wanted


    Hello, So I got curious and enabled windows subsystem for Linux on my friends computer. It restarted, and he was getting constant flickering on his screen. I booted it into safe mode, disabled the feature, and the issue persisted. We got a windows USB drive, and I went into the command line, and ran diskpart. I formatted all of the drives, used the clean command on all of them, and converted all of his drives to GPT. I reinstalled windows, and the issue still persisted. I reinstalled again, and tried to install drivers using the AMD driver utility ( called like AMD radeon software ) which automatically finds the correct drivers for your device. Got a blue screen, and reinstalled windows again, as his computer failed to boot. He still believes that I "broke" his computer, and I just accepted responsibility to make it easier. Now that it is around getting fixed, how do I explain to him that It couldn't have been me that "broke" his computer ? advice would be appreciated.
