    Advice would be most welcome


    Hi members. I'm new in the forum so please be gentle with me. You will quick;y see that I am not very computer literate.

    Recently my faithful computer which was then running Win 7 became unstable for some reason and I decided to back up all my files etc to Cds (7 in total). I then completely reformatted my machine and installed Win 10. I would really like to get the win 7 .img files back onto my computer, along with all my pictures, documents and programs, but am unsure how to proceed. I don't want to wipe Win 10 with win 7 files. The new drive has 1 TB of disk space and isn't partitioned at this point.

    Can anyone help me out here?
