Windows 10: After 1803 to 1809 upgrade, Windows Update no longer works

On Friday, I upgraded a VirtualBox VM 1803 Professional x64 to 1809. When the upgrade was complete, I ran Windows Update, but it errored out after a long delay with ERROR_TIMEOUT (0x800705b4).

I have tried a clean boot and resetting the Windows Update components. That did not fix the problem, and neither did SFC /SCANNOW or the Windows Update troubleshooter.

Can anyone advise?

Windows 10 1809 - Search term "Datetaken:" no longer works

In Windows 10 update 1809 the ability to search photos by using "Datetaken:" no longer works.

This does work in Windows 10 1803.

 

Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

When in win10:

• Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....

Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
- Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.

 

Windows 1809 Started the install on Surface Pro 4 but it stopped and the update screen closed by itself.

It started the download of 1809 and I walked away. Came back twenty minutes later and the update page was no longer open. Tried update again and it said it's updated.

It didn't complete the update or state the RESTART NOW.

Update history lists 1809 and states RESTART REQUIRED but since it didn't complete the install restarting does nothing.

So it thinks it's installed the 1809 update but it hasn't. It won't download 1809 again.

ABOUT say's it is 1803.
