  1. After 1903 update my RAM Speed is now 933 MHz instead of 1866 MHz!?

I just updated Windows 10 Pro from 1809 to 1903. Following this update I have now noticed that the RAM speed has dropped to 933 MHz from 1866 MHz!!

    I use HyperX Fury Black 8GB 1866MHz DDR3 CL10 DIMM Memory.

After 1903 update my RAM Speed is now 933 MHz instead of 1866 MHz!? [IMG]

Here's a print screen of the memory being displayed in my task manager. I have no idea why my 1866 MHz RAM Speed is now being displayed as 933 MHz.

Anyone know how to fix this?

    :)

  2. Using RAM faster than 1866 MHz with an AMD FX-8350. Possible?

I have an FX-8350 and some DDR3-2400 Mushkin RAM. I have found that running the RAM any faster than 1866 MHz makes the memory controller cranky and I get memory errors. I have tried the RAM at the recommended timings and voltage for 2400 and 2133, as well as using looser timings with those speeds and no luck at all. Past 1866 MHz and I get memory problems.

So my question is this: Is this a limitation of the FX-8350's memory controller? Or am I doing something wrong? Does anyone have experience running faster RAM with this CPU?

  3. Would rams with higher MHz bus than motherboard's overclock better ?

Well the official manual says 1600 MHz and that is it .
Crucial says 1866 MHz ram is available option for upgrade .
which brings us to the question , would what work for Crucial work for Kingston ? and if i used rams of 1866 MHz i can boost them to extra couple of 100 MHz than 1800 ?

  4. After 1903 update my RAM Speed is now 933 MHz instead of 1866 MHz!?

Task Manager console displays innacurate RAM speeds

I have corsair Vengeance pro 16 GB ram 1866 mhz installed, Bios cpu z show it at this speed but task manager shows ram speed at 1400 mhz. Is this a cosmetic error for win 10? How do I fix it?
