Windows 10: After an update my system keeps locking up

After an update my computer keeps hard locking and the screen goes black, I know how to remove the update, but honestly I use my PC as an alarm and although it hasn't happened yet I could just not get up in the morning for work because of this.

Before the update I could literally leave my computer running for 2 weeks without it crashing then after the update, and I changed nothing else it keeps crashing.


Is there any way to stop it updating, and didn't Microsoft change there policy so that only security updates would be forced, which this isn't a secuirty update so why?


Microsoft really needs to get there act together and not treat paying customers like alpha testers because they didn't want to pay the staff who do testing anymore, it's ridiculous. Honestly if Linux had the game support that Windows does I would change in a heartbeat.

• When you say that the computer keeps locking, does it happen due to inactivity or does it happen while you’re working on the computer?
  
• Does the computer go into sleep mode or does it lock the currently logged-in user account?
  
• After the computer is locked or after it goes into sleep mode, what happens when you try to sign in to your system or try to wake the system up?

PC Build Steps

Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval

• Install system in case
  • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
• Turn on PC
• setup HDD
• run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
  • run realtemp at the same time

• While in Prime95 test
  • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
  • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
  • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!

What do you guys think??

 

Lock Screen keeps changing

Windows Spotlight picks the photos from Bing and displays them in the lock screen. I understand that you have set a picture and it is getting changed automatically.

I suggest you to follow the steps to select the Picture that you want to be displayed on the lock screen. Please follow the steps mentioned below to set a Picture to lock screen:

1. Press and hold Windows + I key on the keyboard to open settings.
   
2. Click on Personalization.
   
3. Click on Lock screen.
   
4. Click on the drop down under Background and select
   Picture.
   
5. Click on Browse and select the picture that you want to set.
