    Sorry, to be so long. I ran driver verifier with a clean boot and a normal boot. No Dump.mem after freezing in either case. IT WAS SLOW! AND 4:01 for normal and 1:42 for clean boot. Weirder and weirder. I said stress all drivers in both cases.

    This is not very likely, however I do have experience with a similar issue years ago. Turns out it was the old PS/2 mouse I was using that was causing the issue. Do you have a different keyboard/mouse you can try? I realize its a real long shot, but worth a try. Also, are there any USB devices other than the keyboard and mouse connected when this happens? IF so, try disconnecting them for a bit and see what happens.
