Windows 10: After computer shut down, fans and lights are still on and running

HI, Recently, my computer no longer completely shuts down after using the Windows Start Menu / Power / Shut Down option. Windows shuts down, the screen goes blank but the computer stays on i.e. power light is on and fans are running. Here's what I've done so far to try to fix:Made sure the Fast Startup option is turned offRan the powrcfg.exe / hibernate off option to turn off hibernationEnsured the Intel Management Engine Interface driver is up to dateTried holding Shift when using the Start Menu / Power / Shut Down optionI already look up on do everything but it still not work. Follow these steps to run Power troubleshooter:

1. Type troubleshooting in the search bar.

2. Select Troubleshooting.

3. Select View all on the top left corner.

4. Click on Power.

5. Follow the on-screen instructions to run the troubleshooter.

6. Check if issue persists.

Asus Laptop Fan Keeps Running When Shut Down

I don't when it started, but the cooling fan runs at high speed every time I am running on battery and shut down. The battery eventually is drained, and then the fan stops. It does NOT happen when plugged in and shut down. I have tried every suggestion that I can fins online, and nothing works. The only workaround is to put the laptop in Sleep Mode instead of Hibernate. Anybody else have this problem? I am running Windows 10.

• Which version or build of Windows device are you using? To verify your Windows, press Windows + R to open the Run window. Type winver and press Enter. A new window will open showing the version and build number of your Windows device.
• Were there any changes, recent updates, and newly installed applications on your device that may have affected your computer's behavior?
