After July 17 windows 10 PC update I am no longer able to use my pin to log into my pc.

Log-in Pin is incorrect after Anniversary update


I had the same issue after my update on Windows 10. I knew that my pin hadn't changed but it was saying it was incorrect. So I said that I forgot my pin and it started going through the steps to reset the pin entered my regular password and when the window popped up to set a new pin I said cancel and then I chose the option to set my pin later. I exited the screen, logged off logged back in, and set up a new pin which happened to be the same pin I had before and it worked. If this still doesn't work I can show step by step screen shots if you need. I have a surface 3 with Windows 10 fully updated 10.0.14393.0

 

Windows 10 locked out of PC incorrect Pin

After an update from Microsoft to my Dell Laptop I can no longer log into my PC with my PIN. Understand there is a glitch. It asks me to log in with my last used password which it also rejects. So now I am locked out of my brand new PC from which I run
my business. Any suggestions on how I might get this resolved with out losing everything?

 

I can't log into my PC using PIN

I'm using a DELL Vostro 15 - 3568 laptop with Windows 10 Home Single Language (Build number - 14393) on it. I don't use anti antivirus software except the Windows Defender (Up to date)

Since a couple of days, I can't log in to my user account (It's a Microsoft account; not a local account) by entering the PIN. When I enter the PIN, an error (0x80070032) is displayed and it says to restart the PC and try again. When I restart the PC and
try to log in again with the PIN, same thing happens. I still able to log in by entering Password or Picture password.

Please help me to fix it. Thanks
