Windows 10: After June 2021 Win update, the News Widget corrupted or make the right-hand side of the...

After Widows 10 update June 2021 KB5003214 the entire right-hand side of my taskbar system tray area, Wi-Fi, sound icons, time, etc is either corrupted or disappear completely. Fault finding yielded the following solution/workaround:1. If the new "News Widget" in KB5003214, which was installed without my permission, is enabled and visible, then the taskbar works fine.2. If you disable the News Widget, it scrambles corrupt the right-hand side taskbar, i.e. it becomes much smaller in width, with text scrambled over the time icon etc. After rebooting, it disappeared vanished! completely,

To disable the taskbar news widget, use these steps:

• Right-click the taskbar on Windows 10.
• Select the News and interests menu and choose the Hidden option. Disable taskbar News and Interests.
• (Optional) Select the Show icon only option if you want to keep the widget using less space in the taskbar.
