Windows 10: after latest November windows update brother scanner/printer does not scan..

hello!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


I have a brand new out of the box lonovo laptop running windows 10. Tried to re install the Brother printer/scanner and windows 10 does not want to recognize it. before you say run the diagnostic/troubleshooter, I DID!.... at least 10 times. even went to the Brother CS site, and the are ZERO patches or fixes on their site. could SOMEONE!!! PLEASE.... tell recommend where, how, and to best of their ability explain WHY?????? and then F"N fix it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! windows the new way to make your printer into a door stop.

What is the make and model of the brother printer/scanner?

Please try the steps recommended below to uninstall printer software

Press Windows key + X, click Apps & Features or Programs and Features

Select your Brother printer.

Select Uninstall.

Press Windows key + R, type control, hit Enter

Open Devices and Printers.

In the Devices and Printers window look for your Brother Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”

Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.

Type printui.exe /s and click OK.

Click on Drivers tab.

Look for Brother Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.

Select OK.

Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.

Close Devices and Printers.

Proceed to reinstall the driver.

I had to reinstall my brother printer and scanner my icon is no longer on desktop. I need it to use the scanner. Any suggestions
