Windows 10: After my laptop is locked, on reopening my laptop lock screen becomes blank, what should I do?

Please help me with this issue.

Laptop FN Lock?

On non-number pad laptops, Num Lock must be turned OFF. The boss probably turned on Num Lock while using the external keyboard.

Most 15.6" and above 16:9 laptops have number pads these days.

While working on my HP pavilion laptop message 'locking' came briefly and the screen went blank. after that the laptop is not getting turned on.
