    After reboot, computer brings closed laptop display back into mix


    Windows 11 on new Samsung galaxy book4. I have 2 external monitors connected. All works great. When I reboot the displays get messed up. After reboot the display settings show 2 monitors 13 and 2. Even though the laptop was closed during the reboot. I have to open the laptop lid and close for the display setting to change from 13 and 2, to 1 and 2. I have tried everything. I also, found this Exact issue by several others on another question registered back in 2022. Could not find a solution. That thread discussed power and sleep setting. My power mode is set to Balanced. My Screen and sleep

    Laptop display question

    Confusing statement! You want to change the display on your laptop that died?

    Is that correct?

    How do you know its the display that's bad?

    Just google "how to change display on a acer 5745"

    Should get you to step by step instructions. But first make sure its the display that's bad
