After recent Win10 Cumulative Updates Powershell Get-ProcessMitigation Error

Not sure how far back this issue goes, but with recent Win10 Cumulative Updates KB4592440 and KB4598230, powershell command Get-ProcessMitigation fails with "Requested registry access is not allowed". Fails via remote and on-box. -Fullpolicy fails with same error, but -RegistryConfigFilePath works. Issue is preventing successful Nessus security scans that use the command to audit Win10 exploit mitigations.

Hoping someone has insight on if this command has been deprecated, bug, something.... Thanks.

    :)

PowerShell instead of Commandline in Creators Update

Interestingly enough my personal laptop just got the update...and still has Command Prompt listed, not PowerShell...

Edit: Not that it matters...I use both regularly. *Toast :toast:

Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

    When in win10:
    • Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....
Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
    - Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.

    Win10 cumulative update freezes computer

I'm running WIN10 1607 on a Gateway DX4860 PC that was originally installed with WIN7. It's been doing fine until recent auto-updates, which have caused it to freeze. On restart, I have been able to use Troubleshooting tools to restart in safe mode. And
I eventually discovered that if I unplugged everything from the PC except the mouse and screen, I could get it to restart, outside of safe mode, and it would undo updates and return to normal. This has happened twice now with hours of troubleshooting trying
    different restart, restore combinations.

One other clue: on reviewing the update history, I found the following:

    • All other updates in the history were successful except the following.
    • 6/13/2017 failed: 2017-06 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems (KB4022715).
    • 5/23/2017 failed: 2017-05 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems (KB4019472).
    • 4/30/2017 failed: Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems (KB4015438).
    • The last successful Cumulative Update was 4/13/2017: (KB4015217).

Based on past behavior, I fear that the computer will continue to freeze every time it's restarted as it tries to push these updates through. With the computer operating normally for the moment, I would like to find a way to prevent this from continuing to
happen. What options would you suggest? Thanks in advance for you help.
