    After the W10 1909 update my .MP4 files will not play


    Hi,

    After the installation of the current 1909 update and the subsequent security updates I have found any .MP4 files I saved on my drive around that date will no longer play no matter what player I try to use. I was able to view the videos prior to this update and the files are still there. I have tried updating my codec packs, converting to something else, and different media players but the same thing happens. I get an error message stating the file is an unsupported format, is no longer there, or is corrupted. HELP!

    Any ideas?

    MP4 File will not play

    Based on the information you have provided, considering that you are encountering the same issue when playing the MP4 file on different applications, then it's possible that the issue is with the file itself. This could be caused by an interruption or an
    issue while the MP4 is being copied. I suggest that you create a new copy of the file and check if the issue persists.

    Unable to play mp4. file from outloook.

    Trying to play a mp4 file that is an attachment in outlook. when trying to play a MP4 file that is an attachment in outlook. The phone gives me it can not play this video. Now when I pull the file into My vidoes and put it on my phone through zune...
    The file plays. Any suggestion on getting it to stream through....

    Added note I try to put the file up on my Sky drive and it will not play from there.
