Windows 10: After update, Blank black screen!

First let me say I don't know to much about computers, please bare with me! I have a laptop HP-15-ba051 windows 10. I don't know much but I do know it's only a year & a half old and barely ever been used. Then last week I went to use it but it was updating so I waited...……. Then when it was done I turned it on & it turned on well the fan or whatever did but the screen is just blank/black I've done everything HP has said to do. But still nothing except it did finally say preparing automatic repair for about 15min then turned off & its aso done the HP logo a few times. I made a recovery USB but I don't know how to use it. Please any & all suggestions will be greatly appreciated. If you need any other information about the notebook don't hesitate to ask. Thank you & God bless!!!!
