Windows 10: After Windows 10 1903, PC only detects and connects to Mobile Hotspot, can't detect any...

Well I'm aware of the network adapter issues connected to the 1903 update but little did i know before upgrading, now 10 days had passed and i can't rollback. My network adapter only detects and connects to mobile hotspot networks, but can't detect let alone connect to any other WiFi networks around, i tried plugging in an external network adapter and it shows the other networks but when i connect to one of them I'm stuck on "connected, no internet" even on the public ones with no password.

Here's what i tried (none of which were able to fix the connectivity issues):

• Upgrading to Windows 10 1909
• Uninstalling and updating the network adapter driver and restarting (also disabling/enabling the adapter)
• Resetting the network (also tried resetting through cmd)

I was wondering if there are any other fixes i could try before settling on the final solution which is downgrading to 1809 manually (tons of files and apps to backup :/).

Personal Hotspot on iPhone not detected on Thinkpad T480s

I used to be able to connect my iPhone 6s (iOS 13) to my Thinkpad T480s (Win 10 Pro, 1903, latest updates) via USB-C and use the personal hotspot on the iPhone to connect to the internet. This worked without any issues for several years through several upgrades of iOS and Windows.
Now I switched to an iPhone 11 Pro (iOS 13) and the T480s does not detect the iPhone's personal hotspot any more. Personal hotspot is turned on on the iPhone 11 Pro. The T480s sees the iPhone and I can browse its content.
The personal hotspot on the iPhone 6s (also iOS 13) is also not detected any more since I updated the following Apple software on the T480s to the current versions:

• AppleApplicationSupport64
• AppleMobileDeviceSupport64
• AppleSoftwareUpdate

Am I missing something here?

Just to clarify, are you trying to share the internet connection received by your Windows 10 laptop to other devices you have like Xbox? If so, we suggest to enable Mobile Hotspot feature on your Windows 10 by performing the following steps below:

• Go to Settings.
• Choose Network & Internet.
  
• Click Mobile Hotspot tab on the left pane.
• Turn on the "Share my Internet connection with other devices".
• If you want to edit network info, click Edit.
• Check your other device if it will detect your Windows 10 Mobile hotspot feature.
