Windows 10: After Windows 10 May 2019 Update Other Internet Browsers Are Not Working Properly Other...

I had to format and reinstall a fresh copy of windows 10 first edition on my desktop computer.


After installation i had installed other internet browsers other than edge as edge is back dated so edge is not compatible with all sites and edge is not available separately.


Other internet browsers were working fine.

After the installation of windows 10 i had stopped and disabled windows auto update from control panel as i don't like it because windows auto update makes the desktop computer slow from windows xp to windows 10.


But in background each and every microsoft visual c++ redistributable packages started to download and installed automatically, i don't know how ? even i don't know why the latest and newer versions of microsoft visual c++ redistributable package do not contain older versions of microsoft visual c++ redistributable package.


After these updates my network connection started disconnecting on the basis of my work, i mean when i am downloading a file it is disconnecting after few minutes, when i am checking emails it is not disconnecting but after logging out it is disconnecting, it may be becasue of my internet service provider as per my diagnosis.


So i decided to update windows 10 first edition to windows 10 may 2019 edition becuase it may solve the problem.


I had updated windows 10 with many frequent network disconnections.


Now network disconnection is not solved but other internet browsers cannot open sites, few sites are opening but for few seconds.


Edge is working fine.


I had resets winsocks, ips, et cetera but not solved.


Windows 10 october 2018 update had same problem and windows 10 may 2019 update have resists the problem.

Office 2019

Only supported on Win10. Sorry, 8.1 users, only 4 years old, gotta go.

Microsoft Internet Explorer renamed to Windows Internet Explorer ?




Since version 7 of the world`s most popular web browser - Microsoft Internet Explorer was silently renamed to Windows Internet Explorer.Such a step from Microsoft is not a surprise since Internet Explorer is part of the Windows operation system for a long time.Obviously Microsoft corp. wants to state that Internet Explorer is already considered as a part of Windows and not as an external browser (remember the IE and WMP law issues last year!?).

Thank you for your response and information.

As Windows 10 as Microsoft Edge in-built browser, I suggest you to try that browser and check if this issue persists.

For the issues with Internet Explorer try the below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to run the Internet Explorer Performance troubleshooter.

• Press Windows key, type troubleshooting
  and select it.
• Click on View all in the left pane.
• Click onInternet Explorer Performance and follow the onscreen instructions.

Step 2: I suggest you to turn off and on Internet Explorer and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

• Press Windows + R, type Control Panel
  and hit Enter.
• Click on Programs and Features.
• Click on Turn Windows features on or off from the left pane.
• Uncheck Internet Explorer, click on Ok.
• Restart the computer and repeat the same as above to place a check mark on Internet Explorer.
