  1. After Windows update kb5001028 all web browsers not responding and close.

    Hi,

    After installing the Windows 10

    kb5001028

update all my browsers Edge, Chrome, Brave, Firefox give a not responding error and then close.

This also happens with the windows dialogs like msconfig. They just open then immediately close by themselves.

Is this a known issue and how can I fix it. My machine is a T5500 Dell Server.

    Thank you,

    Tom

    :)

    Dear Nokia

There are some comments on the web browser of 5800 XM

Suggested that to go back to the page immediately preceding

2 - tools in the browser page is very large and cover a large amount of information

Suggested that the tools are in the drop-down list with a small button on the top of the screen or at least minimized or put a shortcut to be removed and sent back show it

3 - often closes the application Web site randomly

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Thanks for the suggestions and for the time to respond After Windows update kb5001028 all web browsers not responding and close. :) Best regards.

And thanks for the tip of that program, I'll have it on my list.

Looking for a particular web site ?

I remember seeing this here but i can't find it using the search thingy.

A guy posted a web site that had a comprensive list of all Windows update 32&64. I used to have it in my favorites before i formatted my HD.

    Does someone know it?

They suggested a sticky for it but they never did.
