Windows 10: Airplane mode is permanently on (Desktop, Windows 10)

My airplane mode on my windows 10 desktop is permanently on.

The option to turn it off in action center and taskbar is either grey or not there, the setting in the settings is not there, the fn+prtsc key combo does not work, unchecking the "allow this adapter to turn off the system" stuff did not work, resets did not work, finding the airplane mode in device manager did not work

is there anything else possible that could be causing this? i just want to turn it off. thats all. please help me turn off my airplane mode -_-

How to disable Airplane mode permanently on Windows 10?

Let us try few of the below troubleshooting steps to disable Airplane mode and check if it helps.

Step 1: To turn off Airplane mode from Settings and check.

• Press Windows key, click on Settings
  from the left pane.
• Click on Network & Internet.
• Under Airplane mode turn it off and check.

Step 2: To Turn On or Off Airplane Mode in Network Notification Area Icon

  Click on the Network icon in the taskbar notification area.

  Click on the Airplane mode button to toggle on or off.
  

Step 3: To Turn On or Off Airplane Mode in Action Center

  Open Action Center by clicking Windows + A keys from keyboard.

If the settings are not refining, this issue might have occurred due to corrupted/ missing system files.

Step 4: I suggest you to run SFC scan and check if it helps.

Windows Resource Protection (WRP) file is missing or is corrupted, Windows may not behave as expected.

Follow the below steps:

• Right click on the Start button, click on
  Command Prompt (Admin).
• Type “sfc /scannow” without the quotes and hit
  Enter.
• After the scan, restart the computer and check for the issue.

Permanent Way to Turn Off Airplane Mode for Windows 10 Desktops

Is there a way to permanently disable airplane mode in Windows 10? I have a desktop and airplane mode toggles on every now and then for some reason and won't turn off. I then end up spending 10 to 15 minutes doing the song and dance to get it and my adapter
reset and connected to the internet. Since this is a desktop and will never be used in airplane mode, I'd like to have a way to disable this feature permanently and avoid this issue in the future. Is there something I can do or is this planned for a future
update?

I suggest you to follow the steps to disable the Airplane mode.

Step 1: Open Settings, and select or tap on the
Network & Internet icon.

Step 2. Select or tap on Airplane mode on the left side to turn
on or off Airplane mode on the right side.

I also suggest you to run the Internet Connections troubleshooter and check

• Type Troubleshooting in the search box
  and Hit Enter.
• Click View all from the left pane and select Network and Internet and select the Internet connections \Network adapter troubleshooter and follow the on-screen instructions.
