Windows 10: Airpods on Windows 10

[Help]Im using a bluetooth dongle with the BCM20702 chipset, and have managed to find a driver that allows my airpods to connect via bluetooth instantly (I previously had problems with paired, into connecting, into paired again).

However, when they connect, they don't show as an audio device. if I go into Devices and Printers, and try to open the airpods, it closes the window after a second and I can only try again. If I QUICKLY press connect before the window closes, I can get them to connect as an audio device and select them for playback.

However, if I try to play a video, there is a short piece of sound (<1s) and then it cuts out, and it also lags the video on YouTube. I have previously managed to get sound to play constantly after much fiddling, but it was the tinny sound i've heard about when it's connected as a headset and not stereo headphones. I can't even get it to do this anymore, and the mic no longer shows as connected in the Recording tab in the control panel.

I feel as though Windows is recognising the AirPods as a wrong device, but I could be well off here. Apologies for the slight ramble, but there is potentially multiple problems here and I wanted to get as much information out as I could. If anyone can help with any of these, it would be massively appreciated.

AirPods paired but won't connect.

Thank you for replying.



I would suggest you to refer the steps mentioned below and see if that helps:

1. Press Windows Logo key + X, and select
   Device Manager.
   
2. Expand, Human Interface Devices.
   
3. Look for AirPods Audio/Video Remote Control HID and
   AirPods Hands-Free Call Control HID, right click on each entry and select
   Properties.
   
4. Go to the Power Management Tab, clear the checkbox for
   Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
   
5. Also, repeat step 4 for Bluetooth Low Energy GATT compliant HID.
   
6. Click on OK.

Airpods

My airpods don't show up on the list under HID. None of my two set do.

AirPods Pro can't synchronize on Win 10

Seems to be a different problem, they paired before and suddenly can't get paired again, mine is about list on ratio devices, but unable to access it, I set AirPods in pairing mode, enable Bluetooth on Windows 10, search devices in ratio and select AirPods Pro, but they don't synchronize, just never respond.
