Windows 10: AJAX Call Response StatusText Returns Empty with HTTPS URI in IIS10

Hi

Recently my desktop got upgraded to Windows 10 which comes with IIS 10 webserver.

I hosted my .NET web application in IIS10 server and tested my application using HTTPS URI

I experienced AJAX response failure warning alert message in many workflows in the application and unable to resume the workflow. On analysing in the source code, we observered that the AJAX call response status text returned as empty which is the cause for the issue.

In the source code , there is check like xmlhttp.statusText == "OK" but here we are getting NULL value, so it is considered as AJAX failure and prompts the failure wanring alert message to the user and unable to proceed.

As a workaround, we disabled HTTP2 in registry and the above reported problem resolved.


Do we have any solution without doing any code changes in the application?

which NSeries Model Support AJAX, plz help

AJAX support is very limited in most phones. I have a N95 and the Web client supplied by Nokia has relatively good support for simplified AJAX such as showing dynamic layers, layer shifting and so on. I have found that most AJAX use crashes the browser
though.

Opera Mini available from Opera Web Browser | Faster, Safer, Smarter | Opera has good support for AJAX as well, however I couldn't say whether it was better or not than Nokia's web client.

Why not send me the link to the website and I will let you know how it renders on my N95, E65, etc.

use the firefox script debugger (+ firebug plugin)

you know that ajax needs an url to work with?
