    what do I do when I get an alert from micro soft and an alarm goes off and does not stop. I got other alerts from people and they were scammers and want to take over my computer and I can not get them off.. they take over my computer even when I am on the computer or off. How can I know which is the real micro soft or a scammer.

    Microsoft alert scam

    No, I found out about the scam after I contacted the company whose phone number was listed on the alert and paid $49.99 to fix my computer.
