  1. Alienware, Windows 10, WOW game

It appears there is something wrong with programming somewhere. I have been playing World of Warcraft for 14 years. Until recently, I did not have Windows 10 or an Alienware computer (supposed to be a great gaming system). Only when I am in WOW, the computer kicks me out of game and totally reboots with NO warning or specific time frame! Can someone please tell me where is the problem? We have been trying all kinds of things and nothing seems to stop it from happening. All diagnostics have been run on the computer and everything there is updated and in correct working order. Is there an automatic reboot somewhere in Windows 10? I am opened to any ideas. No IT people, I have spoke with (to date), have had any helpful ideas.

    Frustrated...

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

I understand your inconvenience. We will assist you with it.

Before we proceed, we would like to know if you are facing the same issue with other games as well.

I suggest you update your network adaptor and also install the World Of Warcraft game in compatibility mode and check.

Follow the steps to install the game in compatibility mode.

    • Right-click on the game’s setup.exe file and click on "Properties".
    • Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box "Run this program in compatibility mode for” and select previous Operating System from the drop down.
    • Click on ‘Apply’ and click ‘OK’ and run the file to install it.

If the issue still persist, I suggest you to post your query in the following Xbox support forum. As the team over there can assist you better.
