Windows 10: ALL apps open on third usb monitor except for firefox

ANY and I do mean ANY no matter from where they might be opened from - except Firefox and Microsoft teams application that is opened will for a brief moment appear on what would have been the correct monitor from which they were last opened BUT after that brief flicker ALL will open only on the third USB monitor. Running Windows 10 Enterprise on a Dell E6530 laptop in a Dell docking station with two monitors using the two docking station DVI ports and the third monitor is a USB addition. Tried the Windows Key plus arrow key to move, reposition, resize, close etc all fail. When application is closed and then reopened - same thing NO matter where is was when closed or how it got there.. This is all during the same power cycle not something that occurs only after a reboot.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

 

Missing Firefox shortcut from All Apps menu

Hi,

Welcome to Microsoft Community.

• 
  Press Windows + R keys to open run window
  
• 
  Type Firefox to launch firefox
  

If it launches, you may try to create a shortcut of it by following the steps below:

• 
  Windows + E keys to open Windows explorer
  
• 
  Select this pc and select C: drive
  
• 
  Open Program files and right click on firefox and click on Shortcut on desktop.

I did that to no avail, then I ran WSReset.exe; now I'm good on all 3, Mail, Calendar and People! *Confused
Go figure!
