Windows 10: All Apps Slow After Logon After Last Windows Update

Is anyone else experiencing this problem? I have a Toshiba S75-A7270 laptop running Windows 10 with 8 Gb of Ram and a 512 Gb HD. The Bios mode is UEFI. Everything was working great until the last major update from Microsoft. Since then, when I first bring up an APP after bootup/logon, it is really slow. I wait until all items in the system tray are done coming up and have also checked the items that run at startup and deleted everything I could. Still no difference. This is especially true of Outlook 365. It is taking at least a full minute to come up. Edge also comes up slow and I have Bing as my home page. I can wait until Bing is up and then type in another address and there is considerable lag time between me typing it in and the letters/numbers showing up on the screen.


Any suggestions on how to resolve this would be appreciated.
